New Site

I have started a new private site for Ava. If you haven't received the email yet and would like to be added, email me, fb me, or call me. :)

I will still be using my blog but I'm just trying this new site out.

Happy March

I am happy to say that Working Out is going much better! Last week I worked out at home 2 days, went to the gym before school 1 day and went to the gym after school 1 day! That is FOUR DAYS out of 7...ok, not so bad! I ran a mile the first time and a mile and a half the second time. Hoping to get back up to 3 miles, which is where I was pre-Ava. :) Once Trav's work schedule gets back to normal, I will go to the gym in the morning probably 4 days a week---the 4 days I'm at the school that is closest to my gym. It worked out perfectly and I even got to school a little earlier than I normally do when I am just at home---less distractions. I don't get to see Ava for the 5 minutes I otherwise would, but I will survive, I suppose.

I am also happy to say that it is only TWO WEEKS until Spring Break!!!!!!! We can't go anywhere because Travis can't get off work this year BUT I am going to MN with my mom to see my sister Tammy and niece Ella. That will be fun. I am just excited to have the week off and spend it with my favorite little girl! We'll see about next year! Also, once spring break is over, the school year always FLIES by! I am already getting giddy about the thought of having AAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL summer off with Ava. I know there will be lots of pool time, going on walks, going to the zoo, hanging with friends, cookouts. Ahhhhhhhhh...

Next weekend we are going to Schaumburg with Kim and Craig. No babies. My mom will come up and watch Ava overnight. I am excited to go to IKEA. Travis gets to go to his favorite place, Texas de Brazil, and I think Kim and I are going to get a pedi!!! YAY!

Happy March everyone!
*This is one of the pics from Ava's 9 month photo shoot. She did great for having a fever 2 days before. She was kind of serious (especially for this smiley little girl) but they still turned out great! Not sure how I will ever pick. I LOVE this one. :) She, of course, gave lots of smiles when her daddy walked into the room!
